About Us

We love being at the cabin. We have a lot of fun, sometimes too much fun but then other times just not enough time for fun! We bought the cabin in November 2007 and it feels like it was just yesterday. There is just something about being up north and on a lake. The water beckons us – whether it be summer, fall, winter or spring. Yes, it gets cold here in the middle of winter – but the lake still calls our name. People are always asking, have you closed up the cabin yet for winter. I say yes, but to me closing up the cabin means putting the boat away and pulling the dock out. 
Being at the cabin is more than fun, more than enjoying life. It is experiencing life. It is being in nature, away from busy lives and work. Many days we still talk about work, we do work but we are away from work and most the time not thinking about work. Its not that we don’t like our work, – we enjoy working. We enjoy the work we do but there is something about getting away and enjoying life. Even if its only for a weekend, we need that time to experience life.
